Transfer America | Beware of Sedona Pines

While vacationing no one wishes to sit through a conference or meeting. However, this is what happened to a couple who had booked a weekend stay at a resort in Arizona, only to discover that it was sales pitch.
Ralph D’Errico had booked a tour at a resort called Sedona Pines for him and his wife. But when they arrived, the tour turned out to be a timeshare sales pitch. The representatives were extremely persistent in pressuring the couple into purchasing a timeshare as an investment. They spent two hours sitting in the room while the representatives showed them different prices and figures.

The representatives were extremely skilled and convinced D’Errico into purchasing a timeshare. The only thing that held him back before was the high price of the timeshare. However, after the sales agents discounted the total, D’Errico crumbled and agreed to buy the timeshare.

What the representatives held back from D’Errico was the amount he would be spending yearly on maintenance fees. Now during the present time, D’Errico is unable to maintain his property and has no way out of his timeshare contract.

In conclusion, Transfer America hopes this is a lesson to all. Timeshare representatives are extremely persuasive and if you are offered a timeshare, say no. Timeshares are not an investment. The best thing you can do is stay away from them.
