Transfer America Reports on Two Arrested on Timeshare Fraud

Transfer America reports on two men who were arrested last week for timeshare resale fraud. The Delray Beach police teamed up with Florida’s Attorney General to take down Nicholas Paul, the owner of Provident Choice LLC, and Gerald W. Clarke of William Clarke P.A.

These two men claimed to be working for the Attorney General’s office and were charging timeshare owners $400 to $4,000 in upfront fees. Timeshare owners trusted this company because it claimed “to be working for the Attorney General’s office and other state agencies in obtaining refunds for victims of timeshare resale fraud”. On top of timeshare resale fraud, the Lake Worth timeshare resale company never paid the $110,000 settlement it owned to a previous customer. The Attorney General now seeks more than $550,000 in restitution.
