Transfer America Reports on Cruise Ship Rescue

Transfer America warns travelers to take precaution and know all safety rules when vacationing on a cruise. This past week a worker aboard the Carnival Cruise ship Magic was rescued after falling overboard. The ship had just passing the coast of Galveston when the incident happened. The U.S. Coast Guard was alerted and was called to rescue the man. However, before the Coast Guards could arrive the Cruise ship had already launched a rescue mission. They were able to haul the man from the water into a recuse boat and pull him safely onboard.  Written statements claim that the man is safe and that he was in the water for less than forty-five minutes.

  1. Hi Kaylene, My wife and I have been on 3 cruises so far and all Carnival. The Celebration, Holiday & the Glory. All were great but some of the traveling to the port can be a real negative like the time we drove from NC to Mobile, Al to board the Holiday. From now on if we go anywhere it will be out of Norfolk, VA. We want to try Royal Caribbean next time.
Our favorite place to spend a week and truly enjoy ourselves though is Lancaster, Pa. Just being around the Amish is so relaxing. We miss that place a lot.
Have a great rest of the week.
